A durable technique where yarns are knotted around pairs of warps, then tied off and cut to the desired pile heights. Various types of knots allow for a wide variety of looks.

AXMINSTER

One of the oldest machine weaving techniques, where pile yarns are anchored by stiff jute weft yarns. Surface yarns are finished and cut to an even level for high durability, making it a great choice for hospitality projects.

MACHINE-TUFTED

A technique where needles are machine-stitched through rows of pile yarn on a primary backing, which are held in place by a loop to form the tuft. These styles can have either a cut or loop finish.

PRINTED

A machine-woven warp and weft yarns intertwined, so that the warp yarns come forward to create the pile and stay buried to create the backing of the carpet.

HAND-LOOMED

A machine woven technique run by hand, where yarn is woven over a series of rods and the loop can be left intact or cut. This technique is ideal for creating different pile heights and adding texture.
